Non receipt of money lent

I LENT RS.42,000/- TO A PERSON (RAIL EMPLOYEE) THROUGH CHEQUE PAYMENT THOUGH THE CHEQUE WAS ISSUED PAY TO "SELF" BUT THE MONEY RECEIVED FROM BANK SIGNED BY THE PERSON . NOW HE IS DELIBERATELY AVOIDING TO PAY BACK THE MONEY AND I STARTED CASE AGAINST HIM IN COURT. WHAT IS THE FATE OF THE CASE - THE HEARINGS ARE ONGOING. IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THE MONEY OR WHAT ARE THE LEGAL STEPS I CAN TAKE AGAINST HIM - PLEASE SUGGEST.

You have already taken steps, don't worry you will get the money. As per my understanding this is a Civil matter for recovery filed by you and it will take time.
