probation

my teacher is having 10 years teaching experience in a non grant b.ed college.now she is appointed as a lecturer in same b.ed college but on grant in aid section .is it compulsory to complete a probation period of two years again as she has completed probation period earlier for the same post in same college but in non grant section.plz guide me

Dear Ash,

You are required to look into the by-laws and rules of appointment of the college and provide us with the same to give you a better reply.

Secondly, on a general note a designation is goverend by the terms of appointment. If only the nomneclature has changed without any change in the role and responsibility then the appointment can be challenged.

if is freash appointment, she has to undergo on probation and if it is in continuation of previous employment, then no probation is required.
