Property issue

hello sir

My father died  long back in 1990.

In 2003 we(myself, mother and my sister) came to know that the property in my father's name
,situated in tamil nadu, was registerd in his sisters name by his mother.,
without our consent.

Now when we demanded our aunt to return back the property ,
but she is reluctant to do so.

can u please help us to solve the issue legally?

since i am residing in bangalore, can i file the case in bangalore court itself?

thank you.

is the property self-acquired or ancestral?

if self-acquired, neither his mother nor sister has right in it, even if your father has died without writing a Will.

If ancestral, all of you including his mother have a share in the property.

You have to file case in Tamil Nadu only since the property is situated there.

Thanking you,
