I am looking to purchase a property and need advice whether it is better to buy the property in the name of a company (either pvt ltd or LLP/ partnership) or in name of individual. What are the costs associated (registration & others) and what is cheaper . Further would appreciate if one can even suggest what is convenient in long run from perspective of recurring cost (property tax, etc) , taxation (for future sale) i.e. from convenience point of view.
Funds can be made available both in the company as well as in case individual purchase. Need advice on above and general suggestion on the best practice followed.
Property purchase is intended as investment and shall be given on rent in future.
