Dear Vinay, as per the latest judgement in the case of Anil Kumar jain Vs Maya jain decided on 1.09.2009 by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India . power to condone the six months period is only with the Supreme Court and neither district court nor high court have the same power .as such the district court can not pass a decree of divorce before six months of period .

Vinay,
They can pass the decree if they get the wavie from the Supreme Court. This would be the short matter.
