Sir - My Grandmother is Settling a flat in my name (My mother passed away) through settlement deed. I have two questions here once settlement deed is completed.
1. In future, will she be able to to sign rental agreement or I should be signing the rental agreement.
2. For income tax, can she show the rental income under her earning's and file Tax or should i be showing the rental income under my salary and pay the tax.
I would like her to sign Rental agreement and have the rental income added to her income and file tax. pls. let me know how to achieve this once settlement deed has been made in my name.
