university scam

sirs,

whether university has the power to withhold the result of a student for indefinite period without assigning any reason?

can i file a mandatory injunction seeking the court to order the university to declare his results?

he appeared for llb exam in last april 2008 but when the results were out his reg no appeared in the list of TAL that is to be announced later. what is the legal recourse available to him? kindly offer suggestions.

can i file a petition before the district education tribunal?

which is the best option?

dear Manu, pls check whether it is a private university or a public one.

if a public one then better would be u file a writ petition seeking writ of mandamus for direction to the university to declare the result.

civil suit is not a best advised remedy...

Pl resort to RTI Act 2005 to know the result. Please refer my files on RTI on this portal. Deemed universities are also covered by RTI as per recent decision of Central Information Commission.

Once result is declared, file consumer complaint under Consumer Protection Act 1986 and claim huge compensation from the university for deficiency in services.
