Dear Sir/Madam,
When I sent my passport to houton texas Indian consulate for passport renewal the passport office has changed or misspelled my name. I did not realise it then. Now when asked my bank how I got the name wrong they have told me that it is as per passport and came to see this error. Now most of my records have wrong name entered because of mistake by Govt official I want a compensation of Rs 5 lakhs since it is quite a headache time cosuming and mental agony it is causing me over and above that lot of running around and money. So how can I claim compensation for this in India.
Please advice.
