We are going to get the divorce by Mutual Consent so wanted to understand that if by any chance we can get the cooling period waived off i.e. in getting the final decree of the divorce.
One of the close friend suggested that , if the Petition for Divorce is already in process then filing a writ petition in high court and settling this through medication that both parties are going for mutual consent may expedite the complete process and it can be settled in less than 2-3 months.
Please let me know or pass any reference if this can be done in any way .
