Agreement in inr or usd

Is it possible in India to execute an agreement b/w two Indian companies with the consideration mentioned in USD and payable in Indian National Rupees as per date of invoice. The agreement is for maintenance services. Payments are on a monthly basis.

There is no harm in doing so in the agreement provided both parties agree to this.

You can put the mode o payment either in INR, USD, GBP or whatever currency, as the law does not prohibit such clauses in agreement. Only mandate is the express consent of both the parties to the agreement.
