Without the company's seal it is not valid.  You can demand to put the seal of the co., on that offer letter

it is offer letter. they can offer you through there is own wish. wait for the appointment letter. if they again gives you the same type of appointment letter. demand the proper appointment letter. at this moment don't ask any thing, which cause hardship to you in your company.

The offer letter and appointment letter are two different concepts.

I think your firm is not in a practice to give appointment letters.

You need to have a detailed appointment letter specifying the terms and conditions of your appointment.

You are well within your rights to ask for this.
