Please help in the following issue.
A limited company "A" is operating its business from its head office at Chennai. It is operating its business through their 8 marketing persons, headed by one manager, at Kerala. In kerala the Company is having one of its group company "B" and the marketing people of "A" company are using the premises of group company "B" only to an extend of short meetings etc.
Wile so, one of the marketing staff who is lady has lodged a police complaint against the head of the marketing team for some s*xual harassment and that person was arrested also. Immediately after that the Company”A” has dismissed that head of marketing staff. And the Company-A has immediately transferred four of the marketing persons to some other place with immediate effect and they acknowledged the same but failed to reporting. Since, the company is waiting to take some action against the balance 4 persons, all the eight persons have coupled with and come out of Company-B and they have took the premises on rent in the same locality, running the business under the name of Company-A.
Now, all these eight persons have wrote a letter to Company-A and demanding to pay the advance rent to them to pay same to landlord.
In this regard, what are the action can Company-A can take against these eight marketing persons. What are the remedies available to the company under various acts.
