Obtain mutation record from beginning (even mother document say; Shajra-e-Aks) with all link docs from the authority under whose jurisdiction property falls e.g; MC.

The authority might have fascility of electronic records and/or you may get it from concerned revenue official e.g; Patwaari, Naib Tehsildar.

This should give clear picture the property is self acquired or ancestral.

If self acquired in the hands of your father then you should  have equal share.

Local counsel specializing in revenue/property/civil matters can help you.

If you have filed a suit then you must engaged a counsel.

Your counsel must have already, advised you.
