As per the PA society rule 7 or more owners of the Flats in an apts buiding can form a society . In my 25 flats apartment 7 people ( father , husband , erstwhile owners , two other non owners ) formed a society and got it registered . Criteria for membership was as per the bye laws prepared - owner of the flat and the spouses .Signatories included as the president , secretary , vice president etc were the father of a owner , husband of a owner etc etc . Registrar of the AP Society approved the bye laws and issue registration number in the year 2002. As there were only 4-5 owners residing at a time there was no election and a n adhoc committee carried on the good works. In 2007 it was decided to hold a proper election . The father of an owner who was thus far the president sensing rejection as only spouses were incl in the bye law got the criterion of membership to anyone above 21 years and the category from ordinary to general . A copy recd on payment claims no ammendment on the front page but ammendment to membership and category by striking the same . The registrar has not responded to the query made repeatedly in writing.
What will be the present status of the registration of our society now .
