Changes in sale agreement after franking

Hi

I am purchasing a flat and made sale agreement with my name. And the sale agreement is franked at sub-registrar's office.   I would liek to change the name from mine to my wife. Is it okay to edit manually the sale agreement without refranking, if both parties (myself and Seller) agrees.

Kindly reply me back.

Regards

Gopal

You cannot make any changes of its own in your sale deed it will create complication in future because one copy of the same is also on the record of the sub-registrar.

Try to make the rectification deed so that the name can be added.

Hello Sir,

It is not a sale deed. This is a sale agreement which is made once I am ready to purchase a flat.

Please let me know,  whether it is allowed in Sale agreement to edit if purchaser and Seller is agreed upon?

Regards

Gopal

No, you can't make change in agreement manually, you should make conulst a advocate or registar. Changing manually will become criminal offense.
