yes , custody claims are often seem to be made after divorces as well.
But whats the plan ?? It seems the child is second priority and one (or both ) of the spouse wants to immediately get remarried and then fight for custody of the child.
Pls let the child be with the spouse who would give priority to his overall welfare !!

Settlement shoule ideally settlement of all issues amount the parties. Partis are free settle in the manner is they wish to settle all issues or particular issue.
