Father purchase property for mother and son when he was mino

Hi,

I belong to a Hindu family and live in an apartment co-owned by my mother and me in Mumbai. The property was purchased by my father(with self-earnings) conveying ownership to both of us since the time of purchase(when I was minor). After her demise,  my mother, a homemaker, has willed her share to me. Can my siblings contest the will and claim share?

As the property is purchased by your father  and if they are not aware of will and they are not in good terms with you in that case they may contest the will and claim share.

Hi,

They are privy to the presence of the will. On what grounds can they contest and does it hold merit in court of law?
