Maintenance strategy

My wife has filed a divorce petition plus demanding maintenance u/s HMA 24. I am not a lawyer but was reading the maintenance laws like crpc 125 and others. It appears to me the HMA24 is the most beneficial (wife can demand litigation costs, sundry expenses etc)

So this law seems like a no brainer compared to other maintenance laws for a greedy wife. Are there any drawbacks in HMA24 compared to other maintenance laws?

The only drawback under section 24 HMA is that it can be granted only up to the pendancy of litigation of Hindu Marriage Act but this section is beneficial for wife just up to the extent of pendency of petition.

Raj Kumar sir, but she will ask alimony under different section of the law, wouldn't she? Vijay, alimony is different from Interim maintenance and she is entitled to both.
