status of cases of appellate forums

Sir, How do we know as to any decision or order passed by the lower authorities/lower forums are not further appealed in the higher forums, including H.C and SC.

This is because, when we are qouting certain preceedents/ case laws in our day to day litigations, we must know as to whether such case/ decision is not further appealed( with certain exceptions).

There is no such mechanism to keep track of all decided cases, particularly of lower authorities like Tribunals etc. It is your constant updation and study which keep you updated about the change in law. Still before quoting any judgement one can always try and serach at various forums about the current status of law as decided in the intended judgement. There may be amendment in law post that judgement rendering it null and vide or it may have been reversed by higher authorities.
