Hi my name is prasad, my query is
My surname is YELLAPU and in my education certificates(10th,inter,B.Tech,M.Tech) & passport it was printed as YALLAPU. i have reconized that very late when i got my first job. And know i have a chance to go to abroad for that i think there will be issue while in visa verification. So please suggest me the way to correct my surname in certificates.

Is it is enough if i publish in news paper, is the same add is ok as a proof when there is a enquiry or cross verification.........................

you meet a lawyer cum notary, prepare an affidavit stating your correct surname, and prepare an application form for to change your surname in the certificates to the correct surname. Visit the State Board of Secondary School Education office which is in your state capital city and submit the affidavit and application form
