i want to know the time barred debt provisions in case of commercial property
I paid 4 installements (cheques) approximately 35% of total consideration during 2009-10. can i ask the money back? or is it time barred? what about possession of property?

the amount paid for purchase of house is not debt. refund will depend on the terms of agreement.

but if i want it to be refunded, will then it'll be treated as debt?
