Hi,
My wife file a Domestic violence case Against 6 members of the family. in which 2 sisters are married. Out of 6, 4 of us received the summons in month of June 2013 itself, & 2 sisters were yet pending to received the summons, My advocate file the say & Vakalatnama of 4 of us who received the summons, Now in Dec 2013, both married sisters also received the summons.
Hence pls guide what will be the next step.
a)Both married sisters will have to give lawyer(vakaltnama)
b)will they have to give there say separetly.
c)Will they need to be present (as i will be representing them) while submiting the same as i have already subitted my say
d)can i exclude there name (as alligations charged on them are: they say that she dont know how to cook food, and in this way torture her)
e)The JFMC Court where case is file is 150 kms far from my native place, My lawyer i have given from Native place.
f)Will it will help me in further if i give some other lawyer on behalf of my sisters from place where case is file, it will help me in cross cutting of travelling expenses & other part (Will this strtegy work of giving 2 lawyers from 2 other place)

1)one lawyer can represent all the respondents . on reply can be filed on behalf of respondents . has to be duly signed by them .
2)make application for exemption from personal appearance of sisters .
3)without going through allegations made in complaint difficult to advise
4) always better to engage a local lawyer . saves you lot of money in transportation costs , fees etc

a) Yes.
b) Depends, can submit one for both.
c) They can prey the court for personal appearance exemption through lawyer.
d) You can not.
e) Better engage lawyer from same place where court is situated.
