Aapke appointment letter me kya shart hai? Agar koi doosri vyavastha hostel me nhi hai aur aapko waha rehne aur khane ki vyavastha di gaee hai is shart ke sath ki aapki duty waha 24X7 rhegi to aap apni tulna chowkidar ya kisi aur kramchari ke sath nhi kar sakti.

If your duties in contravention to your service conditions / appointment letter for which you have agreed, you may represent to your department / proceed for legal action.
Hostel Superintendent is officer post, cannot be compared with the working hours / duties / responsibilities of Chowkidar.
Hostel Superintendent of a girls hostel has much responsibilities, needs much dedication.
If you feel this is away from Humanitarian attitude, may approach your seniors. Relief is doubtful.

Government rules prescribe that 24 hours of the Government sevant will be at the disposal of the Government. Apparently, neither dities and responsibiloties of a hostel superintendent are discharged by a chowkidar, nor that of a chowkidar are assigned to a hostel superintendent. So, it is quite irrelevant to compare duties of a hostel superintendent with the duties of a chowkidar.
Of course, you can request the management to allow your family also to live with you in the hostel and allot a family quarter to you for the purpose.

Yes. Your request can be heard by the management as per suggestion given by Sr. Expert Dhingra ji but you cannot take up this issue as a matter of right.

This repetition is not due to technical error, the post is repeated with different name and under different heading. This is case of intentional repeating.
