My grandfather has agricultural land in Rajasthan. My father has one more brother so ideally the land should be equally divided between the two sons but we came to know that grandfather is trying to sell and benefit my uncle as he is baised. The land also has some marginal agricultural loan standings under the KCC scheme from SBI.
So can someone advise on the legal procedure we should follow to avoid getting ripped of the land. Also please let me know what is time taken to get no due certificate from SBI bank against the KCC loan in rural areas to proceed with selling and transferring of land to someone as this will give us some time to act.

Is the property of your grandfather selfacquired or ancestral? If it is self acquired no one has right over the property and your grandfather can do as he wishes. If ancestral, then you may file a partition suit in the court. But, till the clearing of the loan in the Bank, the original documents will be not be handed over to your grandfather.

Hi! thanks for the reply. It must be ancestral property because it was purchased by the grandfather of my grandfather. Also, I suppose the original land documents are not submitted to the bak in the case of the KCC loan. I'm not sure though. Can you please also guide me on what supporting documents are required to file a partition suit in such a case and how much is the average resolution time in such cases?
