Dear Sir, I completed my Post graduate from a state university(by distance education). Now recently I checked from UGC - Distant Education Bureau website and found that my Post graduate degree is not recognised by UGC. According to UGC , those students completed unrecognised courses can not claim any benefit. Now my question is that....1. Can I apply govt. job based on my Post graduate degree? 2. Will I have to add my post graduate degree in NCS portal? 3. is my Post graduate degree invalid? **4. Can any one file case against me for suppression of fact If I do not use the Post graduate degree ?

You may seek the information from the UGC itself under the provisions of the RTI Act.

You state that as per UGC norms, some un-recognised courses cannot claim any benefit. So which PG degree did you complete? If you completed the recognised courses then they will issue certificate and you can use this PG degree.

Incomplete and vague facts can not lead to form an opinion and oblige. Which Universityand what course is involved in your case? Did you check status of the university in UGC before pursuing the PG Course?
