Addendum to agreement

Please suggest that when a status of a party to agreement changes from partnership firm to company.what should be done in this case?Means to execute addendum or take a declaration on letterhead or anything else can be done.

partnership to company means pvt. limited company or ltd. company? AS it related to statutory compliance you may engage an expert to guide you on all formalities if the company has no qualified company secretary.
