Dear Prabhakar,
How do we the members of the lawyers club know what is your family tree?
In any case, why a family tree affidavit is required for registering the property in favour of any one. All that is required is the Sale Deed typed on the stamp paper, the particulars of the property in question and how you are the owner of it.
At best, the original document in your possession as proof of the property belonging to you would be handed over to the new buyer. This fact would also find a mention in the Sale Deed to be executed.

thanks to all.

My brother had purchased a residential site which was registered jointly with my father and intends to sell it. Now, the prospective buyer, being a noted architec h and builder, wants to have the family tree as a part of sale deed even though he is very much clear that my brother and father both are the sole property owners & will jointly execute the sale deed. In my openion, no such document is required since both executatnts are alive and none of the other family members would entitle for share or litigate in father's portion of property. Pl suggest me.
