dear experts,fact of the case is: x lady(name is not disclose)files 498a against her husbend and in laws before that husband file divorce suit, after bail husband files 24pendente lite and want to alimony from his wife(house wife) and affidavit was totally false.As a profession husband is an advocate.my question is-1.what is the purpose of doing so? 2.can the court entertain the pendente lite? 3.can this petition use as a evidence when 498a trial will be done?? 4.what kind of ligal step taken against him for false affidavit?

well make an application calling upon husband to produce his income tax returns . if he is practising advocate husband wont get any maintenance . objective is to harass the wife . husband knows that if he is working he cant get maintenance from his wife who is housewife

What do you mean by ' false affidavit'. Disclose it.
The wife is entitled to maintenance as per income and status of husband during the pendency of divorce suit and 498A case.

WIFE HARASSED ADVOCATE HUSBAND BY FILING 498A
AS USUALLY ALL 498A ARE FALSE CASES.
So Advocate husband wants to teach Laws to wife..

A meaningful and practical observation by expert Mr. Shroff on the subject query. If the husband has filed maintenance u/s 24, challenge it on the facts from your side. This is a retaliation to the (false) 498a case against him, so let her face the music she composed.
