thanx alot for your advice sir. but need little more help. the lawyer of the company is not here these days neither the director & i have already joined the office on 19 june. my cheque is of 51000/- but date is not mention on it nw what can i do so that i can contitue wid job also n i should come out of the thing that they can encash it anytime. before leavig the job i have to give 3 months notice or they will encash the cheque. i have doubt if i gv them notice of 3 months 7 they do not accept it than they can fire me by saying thati was on probation period. pls help me, thanx

stop payment on the cheque until situation is clear regarding your rights and liabilities
