Dear Experts, Iam planning to buy a agri land in karnataka.But since iam not from agri family, i will have to buy it in the name of My mother-in-law who belongs to a agri family.my question are as below.
1.if payment to the land seller goes from my bank account, will there be any implications.

transfer funds to your mother in law account . let her issue thwe cheque to the seller from her account

Dear Experts , thanks for your quick response, In adittion to above i wanted to ask if the Seller wants to do a sales agreement in my name and take only the property registration ammount from from my mother-in-laws bank account and remaining ammount from my bank account. would there be any issues.

You won't get the status of agriculturist even by applying your second trick. law has already made strict provisions against such thoughts.

Dear Mr Raj Kumar Makkad,
I do not have any intensions to dis-honor the law of the land. The seller is suggesting the options i shared above.I want to invest my hard earned money in the deal.Actually i already belong to agri family, but to buy agri land in karnataka, The annual family income should be less than 2Lacs.Pl. suggest me a proper way.
