I will be extremely grateful to know if a wife Can lay claim on husbands property purchased before marraige. If so what is her share if the marriage has lasted less than two years.

She has got no right to claim even a single penny out of that property which her husband had acquired prior to marriage. The Act of distribution of the properties attained even after marriage is also not in existence as on day so there is no question of any distribution on the day you are raising this query.
