Is there any alternative method than money order, if owner is not ready to accept the rent / arrears?

yes, by depositing rent in the office of the rent controller.

Can do this for even paying arrears as well?
And the matter is not yet in court, so how do i pay the rent and arrears to the court?

yes, u can do for arrears payment in rent control.
if u want to pay in court then wait till the order or direction not come for payment of all amount of rent.

In WB there is no provision for depositing arrears rent.
You can deposit from the date of filing of application.
Do not worry about arrears rent as you would get chance to deposit the same if any such suit is filed later.

Send the arrears of rent by cheque / draft crossed a/c payee by registered AD. If returned undelivered do not open the envelop and produce the same as evidence before court..

If you have your owner's bank account details, then "transfer funds" on line or you can deposit directly to his account.

File a petition under relevant section before the Rent controller seeking direction to deposit the rent with it since the owner is not ready to accept the same by any mode namely in person, money order etc.
