Anticipatory bail for sec 498

When can we apply for anticipatory bail?Is it necessary only when the complaint is registered in police station?if it is not registered then can we apply for anticipatory bail?what is the fees of anticipatory bail?

Even complaint is not regd., you can apply for the anticipatory bail

u can apply for AB when u aprehend arrest by

police in near future.
