Appear before DRT Court

(Querist) 16 July 2010 This query is : Resolved
Can I appear personally and plead for my case before DRT. I do not need a lawyer as I am not satisfied with them.
G. ARAVINTHAN (Expert) 16 July 2010
if you are ready to follow procedures, you can very well go in person. but how about arguing with citations
sukhbir singh (Querist) 16 July 2010
what are the procedure to appear. As far as I know the citations.
Uma parameswaran (Expert) 16 July 2010
Civil procedure is following in DRT.In the middle of case if you have any grievance you can file IAs.
Daksh (Expert) 16 July 2010
Dear Sukhbir,

You can appear before the Presiding Officer and get your statement recorded whereafter you can persue your case on your own or in the alternative as suggested by Uma you may file Interim Application for this purpose.
Best Regards

sukhbir singh (Querist) 16 July 2010
Thanks all the suggestions from esteemed lawyers. Now I have understood the matter.
sukhbir singh (Querist) 17 July 2010
Dear SKJ
The matter is straight. Bank issued notice u/s 13(2), I represented us/13(1a), bank accepted the representation, accepted the payment, issued NOC for disposal of my property by myself and make part of payment as agreed with me and the Bank, I sold the property which was with the Bank when they issued notice u/s13(2) with their approval. After all this they have issued notice u/s 13(4). Can they do so, is the question. In DRT last two dates bank did not come to reply, and judge gave time to the Bank for a final hearing on our case, if the bank was not fortcoming with the reply.

KINDLY NOTE THAT YOU HAVE CONFIDENCE HENCE YOU MAY THINK THAT YOU CAN DEFEND YOUR MATTER.
BUT I SUGGEST IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO DEFEND THROUGH SOME LEGAL EXPERT .
KINDLY NOTE THAT PROCEDURE OF DRT IS DIFFERENT AND THOUGH YOU KNOW YOUR MATTER STILL CITATIONS AND ALL LEGAL PROVISIONS AND ALSO PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED IS NOT THAT EASY.
KINDLY NOTE THAT MOST OF THE BANKS ARE REPRESENTED BY SENIORMOST LAWYERS OR THEY HAVE THEIR LEGAL DEPTS AND FOR DEFENDING YOUR MATTER ,I SUGGEST LEGAL EXPERTS HELP IS REQUIRED.
THIS IS JUST SUGGESTION .YOU KNOW YOUR MATTER AND CAN TAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS .
YOU MAY WRITE AND SEND DETAILS FOR ANY HELP
GOOD LUCK.
