Attachment of salary in case of govt. employee

my brother who is working as govt teacher given a guarantee for chit holder, ultimately the chit holder failled to pay the installments and court given decree against chit holder. in this circumstances what his liability towards this chit vendor, pls advice us

In case the chit holder fails to make payment at all, the total liability falls on your brother.

Yes. As a garnisee he is liable to settle the amount on the borrower's default.

Only part of salary of a Government servant can be attached at the most for 24 months in a single case.
