For the present ask for bail in the current case.
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 26 September 2011
If FIR is filed against you and there is threat of arrest then go for anticipatory bail.

I do agree with rajoo.

Sir

F.I.R is not still filed against me. Case is still in Women Cell. Believe next week, its going to be last hearing and we have to give 'Byaan' on that day. My in laws are influential so i was thinking of going for blanket bail.

But one advocate is in favor of same other is not. Other one told that blanket bail itself will have adverse affect on inquiry officer and moreover if it get refused then more adverse affect will be there on your case.

Plz help.

Asking anticipatory bail may be only choice at present. The opinion of other one is a bit sound than your former lawyer.

Sir

You mean as F.I.R is not registered till now means i should not apply for blanket bail.

When F.I.R gets registered against me then only i should go for anticipatory bail. Plz suggest. Thanks

There is no such thing as BLANKET BAIL. It is called Anticipatory Bail. Also, in certain states the provision of Notice Bail is favored by the direction of High Court, in which the person is admitted on notice bail pending investigations.

When you are seeking dowry harassment charges, you should apply for Anticipatory Bail.

Rejection of the same has no effect on merits.

Anticipatory Bail is applied against particular FIR No. There is no concept like Blanket Bail.
