A male christian married to Hindu female as per the marriage tradintions of both relegions, and got marriage registered with appropriate authority.
Q. Husband wanted to divorce wife?What shall husband do to get divorce from the Court.Which law to be applicable for divorce proceedings, either Hindu Law or Christian Law?

One of my lady client's husband got married to another girl without divorce and during life of my client. Parties are Hindu. Now my client wants to declare the second marriage of her husband as null and void.
I have a little confusion should I go for declartion suit or suit U/s 11 of Hindu Marriage Act?

Dear Seniors,
Its been now 4 yrs, I am married, but have not yet anything for my marriage certificate. Wherever I go, e.g. banks, passport office etc. they ask my marriage certificate. Kindly let me know the procedure, as to how can we do it.

My sister is in great trouble.My sister got married one year back.It was a intercast love marriage.She is on a reputed post earning good salary but her mother in law transfers her salary every month in her account.overburdenns her for household work and doesnt let her sleep more than 3 hours.she has already got hospitalised once due to mental torture on part of her mother in law behaviour.Her husband doesnt support her at all.Even her mother in law doesnt let her come to her parents home.They had taken lot of dowry but all was taken by her mother in law and does not let her use a single thing.There is no physical torture but immense mental torture.
What we are afraid of is that if we take her back she (mother in law) is such lady that she can even put an allegation later about my sis has stolen all the money and gone.
What is the remedies and what should we do?Please help

X(Wife) moving to court against dowry, domestic violence (also including in laws) and mental abuse. The husband also having physical relations with another lady for a year. X's parents staying in a city different from her in laws. X wants to immediately shift to parent's house.

My client's marriage was held according to Hindu Rites but was registered under Special Marriage Act. Now his wife does not allow him to have a physical relations with him.
My client wants to file a divorce.
Under which Act he should move for divorce.

My Father in law is bed ridden and has got flats and shops in his name. Now my mother in law is not so much keen on distributing the family property,my husband being the eldest son what rights does he enjoy? Is it possible for my mother in law to not give us anything from the said property?
