Property inherience by daughters

A house property was purchased by the sons and as a token of respect and affection, the house was registered in the name of the mother. Now the daughter claims a right in the house claiming it as a self acquired property of the mother. We can very well prove that the mother did not had any source of income and father also did not had any income during the period. There was also no ancestral property which could have been sold at that time for buying this house. What is the remedy available for us [ sons] to come out of this tangle. As all our earnings were invested in this house we do not have any savings left to us and we are broken, Kindly help suggesting legal procedure to come out of this tangle. Thanks and regards.

Liability of partner in repaying bank loan.

Respected Ld. Members:

A partnership firm consisting of two partners had availed a loan of Rs.22 Lakh. Both of them have until now already paid off Rs.15 Lakh. Now problem is - one partner refuses to co-operate in paying off the remainder, i.e. Rs.7 Lakh. Bank has already issued notice to the defaulters and is contemplating legal action against both the partners.

Can the partner who is willing to repay the loan pay just his share of the remainder, ie, Rs.3.5 Lakh and be absolved of his liability??

Proporty bought in auction from bank

A relative of mine bought in property in public auction conducted by bank.He paid the full sale consideration and got the sale certificate registered.Bank arranged possession of that flat.He let the flat for rent to one of friends and during the tenancy the old owner who was the borrower seems to threatened the tenant to vacate the place and said that the auction purchaser does not have possession. When the complaint was taken to the bank did not give a proper reply. My question is whether the old owner has any hold over the property after the confirmation of sale and issuance of sale certificate?
