One of my employee joined in my company on 1st june. But we didn't registered him in ESI act since our HR manager was on leave from 30th may to 8th June.
The employee met with accident in my factory on 4th June, so we registered him the same day in ESI though outsourcing agency.
Now, i have got show cause notice under section 68 of ESI act from regional director, ESI.
What should be the suitable reply ? Plz help

I worked with Punjab Govt for 2 years in supervisory capacity. After probation, i resigned from the Post as per terms & Conditions of my appointment letter. On the date of resignation, i have in balance 50 Earned leaves. My employer has denied payment of Leave encashment on the ground that there is no provision for such payment in case of resignation.
Please let me know, how can i pursue my case though Court. Can i approach labour court in this regard ? or i can approach only civil Court ? Whether there exist any case law on this matter ?

I resigned from Punjab Govt PSU after rendering two year of service after giving proper notice of 3 Months. My employer has denied me encashment of Leave earned during these 2 years on the ground that Leave earned can be encashed only on retirement (voluntury or supernnuation ). This information has been provided to me under RTI Act.
Now i want to pursue the matter using Law. As per CWP 3143/2008 Punjab & Haryana High Court(enclosed here), my resignation would be termed as Voluntary resignation. Also, as per section 79 of Factories Act, 1948, earned leave can be encashed.
Kindly guide me, how to proceed further. Shall i go for CWP or labour court for easy & cheap disposal of case?

I have applied for answer keys of certain recruitment exam. But the recruitment process is going to over by next week. In case discrepencies are observed in near future & application is made for revising the result, can the high court admit that appeal ?

My Client is a factory registered under Factory act from last 5 years & regularly paying EPF on Wages. But now, since no. of workers are less than 20, can it surrender the EPF License ? Bcoz the no. will remain less than 20 in future. Is there any special provision to surrender the license ?

Sir, my questions is whether an investigation against a single person can be done under 2 separate laws by two different officers for the same matter ? Like under Railway property unlawful possession act and code of criminal procedure act ?
