Buying a movable property when 498a going on

Hello Sir,

I am facing 498a from my wife since 2 years and also maintenance cases. My question is, can I buy a car on loan while these cases going on? or i will face some legal problems if it is considered as propoerty during divorce? please help...

you have to pay the maintenance amount as directed by the court. It not means Half of the share of your assests

Thanks a lot for your help...My lawyer usually says don't buy anything on your name otherwise during divorce it will be a problem...Thats why asked..

Maintenance would be decided on many factors including your income, you can purchase car, it will have no effect on your case.
