Dear Sir,
I am a govt. officer and covered under General Provident Fund. The subscription may vary every month. I can take advance and final withdraw also. At the end of the year how can i calculate the interest and final balance at my credit.

EPF department maintains proper accounting of each and every subscriber and issues its Statement of Account after every year. Get it compared with your deposits and withdrawals.
Rate of interest, interest earned, your contribution and the total amount lying to your credit would be mentioned in the statement slip issued at the end of each financial year. If you have not received one, you may approach PF Department and get a copy. If you have to calculate the interest earned by you for cross checking with the correctness of the corresponding amount mentioned in the slip, then you need to work too much on the calculator.
