Dear Sir, we have a property of worth Rs 1 crore 10 lakh (as per Govt certificate) at Andhra Pradesh, we are 5 legal heirs.one of the legal heir register 1/4 of the property in his name with out our notice and questioning for share in remaining part also. When we approach a lawyer they are asking for Rs 1 lakh for property suite. So please guide us, can we go for suing at lok adalat court for fast action or is their is any other way less expensive as one lakh makes us very burden some.or we have to proceed with property suite only. Kindly guide us.

You may search for a lawyer you can afford. You may approach the Adalat but It cannot force a compromise and there too, you may need the assistance of an advocate..

Anywhere you have engage an advocate. Hence search for an advocate who will take up the case for lesser fees.

You can negotiate with some other lawyer, considerable valued property is involved.

SUIT NOT FILED YET.
COMPROMISE & REGD IT, IF MUTUALLY AGREED.
IF NOT, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE EVEN OF LOK ADALAT, AND U NEED FILE SP. SUIT
ADVOCATE FEES ARE WITHIN THE GUIDELINE,FOR CIVIL MATTER ; NOT EXCESSIVE.

You cannot file a suit in the lok adalat directly. If you find this lawyer is costly, then you may approach some other lawyer who may agree for lesser fee.
