Can the marital dispute be forced to be settled in police station?

(Querist) 01 August 2013 This query is : Resolved
Good Morning
I would like to ask :
if I can be forced to settle my marital discord in the police station?

Whether my call recorded by my wife (MY CONFESSION) where I have accepted and apologised that I used abusive words against her and slapped her in 2003 be used by police to beat me?

The reason was that she cooked beaf and served me.

As I have been continuously receiving warnings/threats of out of court settlement forcibly done in police station.

I would like to know to what extent the police can go in this case when we are living separate for more than 6 years.

Thanks

Sir

Pursuit does not mean threatening or coercion on the part of the police. You can approach a court of law, if undue pressure is built up or you are threatened by police.

police has no power to settle marital disputes. only courts have such powers.

Sir is it possible that I may be man handled due to recorded confession.

because she has repeatedly said she has been cheated, facts have been concealed, I didn't allow her to stay with me.

As she was well prepared to record it and every time I said OK leave what ever is past now start afresh. Just to reconcile. I was unaware so she had upper hand. Can I be allowed to speak in court even if the IO frames one sided report?

she has said and recorded that we married according to muslim law and to show to my parents we married at Hindu temple in which she gave affidavits of taking care of my daughter from first wife ( first wife expired after delivery of my daughter) which I accepted.
Later she blamed that you became indifferent towards islam and cheated me as you started following Hinduism, to which I have replied that I love Hinduism and can practice any religion of my choice.

So what would be the course of action.
Should I deny the islamic marriage or will I be forced to proceed as per muslim law

She is ur second wife.
Do u plan for Third Wife??
u hv motherless child to look after.

Better settle the matter, and live peacefully.

Question of Police forcing you, or dispute with wife is secondary issues.
decide what u want finally, and do needful.

Sir
There are no plans for any further marriage.
just want to save for my daughter who has grown up and is in 10th.
That's why I raised the query.
