A person applied for driving licence through some agent and the agent after a month the agent delivers him the driving licence. The person applied for a government job through that licence and cleared all the tests but did not joined the job. Later on during verification by the recruitment authority, the licence was found to be fake and a case was booked against the person u/s 420/468/471 IPC for submission of fake/forged documents to seek a government job. The person has no knowledge whether it was a fake licence. what can he do now to protect himself as he is employed some where else. Not only this, there were more that 80 such cases booked by the recruitment authority where licence were found to be fake and no job was offered to the students. All the licence were from Mathura licensing department and it was found that all licences belonged to some other persons. What steps be taken during trial as there was no intent of the applicants to produce the fake certificate.

Intention has nothing to do with the alleged crime. You being accused person can disclose the name of the relevant agent so that he may also be implicated in the same case. The staff of the registering authority might have also been involved in this fraud so a CBI enquiry can be demanded through high court.
