Sir/madam,
My father has transferred property in equal contrubution to my self and my brother but my share has been registered wrongly as Nick name instead of original name. My all documents from child hood is on original name.Now I want to change my name on 7/12 as Original name. Kindly advice how to proceed.

Is the mutation carried out on the basis of a partition or settlement deed?

it is easy. Just file an application with the ADM for rectification of error stating that the Person named in record is you only and your actual name is different. Nothing is chargeable by the government to change record. your case is not a case of mutation but it is simply a case of rectification of error. IF ADM refuses, you should have filed a suit in revenue court for declaration. It is time taking but not so tough.

1. File a proper AFFIDAVIT alongwith all the relevant papers to the concerned authority. The needful would be done.

Check whether mutation has been sanctioned in your nick-name, if so, move to ADM for rectification of the same otherwise file a suit for declaration before ADM.
