Change of lawyer

(Querist) 07 December 2012 This query is : Resolved
My current lawyer is not attending my matter in a revision application. I have to change the lawyer, but afraid he will not give me NOC, even though he has been paid. What can I do?
Nadeem Qureshi (Expert) 07 December 2012
Dear Querist
you should contact personally or contact over the phone.
Feel free to call
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 07 December 2012
You request your advocate to give NOC, if he didn't then issue notice terminating his vakalat.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 07 December 2012
Issue notice by RPAD, c Copy to concerned Court. , and file new VP in court
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 07 December 2012
First of all try to obtain NOC and only on his refusal, post your query. You have got no cause of action to raise such query as of now.
K.K.Ganguly (Expert) 07 December 2012
Yes. The query has been raised based on assumption & not on fact.
Dr J C Vashista (Expert) 08 December 2012
Nothing to add.
You can also resort to filing of a complaint against such lawyer in the Bar Council and/or Consumer Court.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 08 December 2012
Any thing possible only when he really denies
you issuing NOC .
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 08 December 2012
You should not raise question mark against a lawyer without actually resorting.
