Change of name in society records

My Grandfather passed away on 14.12.2014. He has a property which has Joint name 1) His name 2) His 1 sons name 3) His 2nd sons daugher in laws name.
He has filed the Nomination with the society office to transfer his share of rights to his Grandson.
Before death he has made a will and has transferred the property rights to his 2nd son whose name is not in the property.
The Second son want to put the name of his son (i.e. my name property in place of my deceased grand fathers name.)
Is it possible to change records in society.
IF YES, what is the procedure.
If No , please can you guide and show a way it can be done.

We have approached Society but they want opinion of legal advisor

Nominee is the trustee of the legal heirs.
Property would be inherited as per will of the deceased.
After that he can sell / gift / transfer / mortgage it.
