Change of Name in SSC Certificate

Respected Forum Experts,
Good Evening,
My cousin name is Faisal Bin Mohammed, He has passed SSC from the then AP board (2002).
His name on certificate is MOHD GHOUSE PASHA. Can he change the name to Faisal Bin Mohammed?
And The school in which he studied is not functioning now.
Kindly help.

The name mentioned in the nominal rolls sent by the school to the board is not displayed in the certificate, then only correction is possible.
