what all information it has, would it be detail report or brief summary of allegation intially made at time of Fir.

Can witness, bring new allegation which is not mention in chargesheet.

What is evidential value of chargesheet.

Charge sheet: it contents the detail statements given by the witnesses before the investigating officer. He can say at the time of evidence.

Charge sheet contents, the history of that case.. I.e. Complaint, f.i.r, statements under section 161 of cr.p.c, parvai magazar witness, investigation report.

No. The witness can't bring new allegation while evidence before court of law. He can say the same thing which is given before the investigation officers.

And about its value, its just like secondary evidence. No one can convict only based upon charge sheet. The prosecution is responsible to prove the same.

A chargesheet is not a piece of evidence. It has no evidentry value.

It consist the brief details abt what the investigation officer has collected to prosecute the offender during investigation.

A witness, cannot bring new allegation which is not mention in chargesheet. it would be treated as improvement.
