Dear Sirs/Maáms,
We are a group of individuals who have come together to establish a Charitable Trust in Chennai and having registered an Educational Trust within the jurisdiction Registrar Office. We are now desirous of initiating another Educational Trust with similar objectives having to register in the same office. May we know if there are any provisions that limit 1 author to legally initiate & register 2 Trusts or more, having similar objectives and under different names of the Trust. Its a straight technical question. There are reasons to have required 2 separate educational trusts as while the founding trustees are the same, the rest of trustees will be different in the 2 trusts. Therefore the need to establish a different trust. We will be grateful for any kind answers with clarification from the Experts.

You can move ahead as desired as there is no legal hurdle in doing so.
